Ford did not achieve anything with either of them, and she left the rock scene for about 10 years. The year was 1988 when she released her smashing success album 'Lita.' The lead song "Kiss Me Deadly" and ballad "Close My Eyes forever" were big hits. The singer disappeared from the industry for a couple of years following her brief popularity. The album release "Black" to the public in 1995 followed "Wicked Wonderland, almost 15 year later. "Time Capsule" was her album "Time Capsule" was made available by her in the year 2016. Guitar Player Magazine has awarded her The Certified Guitar Legend Award.
